CMI Media Group and Compas is looking for a Help Desk Support Assistant to join our growing IT team. This person will primarily be responsible for handling imaging, new hire buildouts, and handling our return laptops. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Image newly purchased laptops
  • Buildout laptops and completing checklists for each buildout
  • Process laptop returns and escalating any issues to our Help Desk team
  • Assist with any upgrades needed
  • Mail out equipment and tracking to ensure arrival
  • Mail out empty boxes for equipment returns
  • Follow up on any outstanding returns (escalating as needed)
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and testing new peripheral equipment
  • Help with assigning resources to help desk team members
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Escalate issues to appropriate resource
  • Maintain up to date and accurate timesheet reporting daily

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer savvy – must demonstrate proficiency in navigating within Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Real-world experience in working and troubleshooting Windows 10
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and OS issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Emphasis on task quality (be thorough, detail-oriented and responsible)
  • Keen attention to detail, organization, and strong follow up skills are required
  • Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks
  • Extended and on-call hours required at times to support client requirements
  • Travel to our KOP, Philly, and Cherry Hill office locations required
